As per the Policy Resolutions approved by the Board of trustees on May 21, 2002, regarding dryer vent cleaning and inspection and cleaning of fireplaces and chimneys, the Association requires dryer vent cleaning and chimney inspections to be completed every two years in order to insure safety in the community. It is that time of year again, please complete these required services by September 1, 2024.
As you may recall, homeowners must have a qualified inspection company inspect and clean their dryer vent, fireplace and chimney to ensure your and your neighbors' safety. Upon completion of the inspection/cleaning, each owner must send a copy of the certification of inspection and cleaning to the management office. These inspections are to be completed by September 1, 2024.
Inspections are required even if you do not use your dryer or fireplace. Failure to comply with these resolutions will result in a fine in the amount of $25.00 per day for each day that we do not receive the certificate of inspection for each (dryer vent and fireplace).
Vent cleaning dislodges lint from the dryer vents. Lint build-up prohibits airflow in the ductwork and poses a serious fire hazard. Given that homes in Pointe O’Woods are attached, cleaning your dryer vent is of extreme importance. Failure to do so represents a threat not only to you but to your neighbors as well.
1st Round Pruning: The landscape crew is scheduled to begin pruning the community on Monday, June 3, weather permitting. Please remove all breakable personal items from the planting beds, it is very hard for the crew to do their job while trying to navigate through delicate lights and statues. The supervisor tells us that the company will not be responsible for anything that is damaged during this project.
Mulch: The crew will then install the mulch beginning Monday, June 10, weather permitting. Please keep your personal items out of the planting bed until the mulching is complete.
The supervisor apologizes for any inconvenience this delay may cause, unfortunately, with all the rain they have no choice.

The pool area is open starting May 25, 2024, Memorial Day Weekend!
Please read your email with the attached recreation rules, complete the 2024 pool recreation form, and return it via email to gibbyk@u-b-e.com or drop it in the white mailbox outside the office door.
To access the pool on Memorial Day Weekend, all forms must be submitted by Wednesday, May 22, 2024, to be processed.
Please ensure HOA fees are current to avoid issues when accessing the pool. Please do not wait until the last minute to avoid potential processing delays that may prevent pool access.
POOL SEASON & HOURS OF OPERATION: The pool will be open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Daily weekday operations start June 24, 2024, weather permitting. Operating hours are weekends and holidays only through June 23, 2024 and then daily from June 26 through Labor Day. Weekend hours are from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Weekdays, Monday - Friday, hours are 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
